For those who feel like they have to compromise quality, elegant dining for a kid friendly atmosphere, Aura at the Seaport Hotel proves otherwise. They offer a “Fine Dining Family Style” early evening Fridays for families before the usual dinner crowd arrives. There’s a designated play area for children to play in while waiting for their food so they don’t disrupt other guests and parents don’t have to spend their meal trying to entertain them. The children’s menu also goes farther than the traditional chicken nuggets and hot dogs. Along with offering quality food for adults, the restaurant offers quality dishes for children that will make trying new foods not scary for them.

This restaurant not only welcomes children guests, it encourages them. Don’t be intimidates by the fact that this is a seafood restaurant. The vibe of the restaurant is very casual and the menu is sure to have something that your kid will enjoy. Free ice cream sundaes and a balloon sculptor are offered on Sunday nights, and a bucket of crayons is always on display on the hostess stand. With all the fun your kids are having, you’ll almost forget that you have a menu of great seafood to choose from.
