Can you use three words to describe yourself and tell us why?
Adaptive, a realistic idealist (can that count as one?) & deliberate. I am constantly working to improve professionally and personally through education and acquiring new skill sets. I am naturally (or unnaturally) optimistic and nothing in my life is done without intention.
Tell us a little bit about your blog – why did you start it?
I started my blog 7 years ago anonymously to see what reaction my writing would garner. Later I used it to document all of the wonderful aspects of my life that I preferred to focus on instead of my terrifying fight against SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus which I was diagnosed with in August of 2006.)
How do you like Boston? What do you think is the most special thing about this city?
I love this beautiful city with all of my heart and all that it and it’s people have to offer. The cities rich history is one of the many things that makes it so special as it plays such an integral role in American History and was the foundation for many anti-slavery movements.
On your blog, I read that you’re a foodie. Which is your favorite restaurant in Boston?
I really can’t just choose just one; first would be Ken Oringer & Jamie Bissonnette’s Toro nestled in the South End, second is the newer Back Bay brainchild of Jamie Mammano and Chef Mitchell Randall’s Ostra.
