If you’re like me and only visit the Prudential Center once in a while, you might not be too familiar with it’s stores. Yes, I know there’s a Saks Fifth Avenue, Vineyard Vines and Barnes and Noble but that’s pretty much it. It turns out that there are a bunch of other places to visit while you’re there, so here’s a quick look at a few of the stores you should stop into the next time you are in the area.
One of the newest stores in the mall is Warby Parker. If you haven’t heard of it, Warby Parker is a one stop shop for glasses. Unlike a lot of other stores, all of their glasses are their own. They have many to choose from that range in shape and style. One of the great things about this store is that their glasses start at just $95. It can be easy to put off getting new glasses because of how expensive they can be, but luckily you have a new option now!

Right next to Warby Parker is J Crew’s sister store, Madewell. Their look is polished yet laid back and their clothing lives up to the name when it comes to quality. They have it all: cute dresses, everything denim you could imagine, shoes and leather handbags. It’s almost impossible to walk out of the store empty-handed. While the price of certain items can be a bit much, they have a great sale section and offer student and teacher discounts so you can always find a great deal! If you are looking for a few new pieces to add to your wardrobe this is the place to go.

Stuck in the area after missing your train? Been there! Why not get your nails done while you wait? MiniLuxe is a great place to get a manicure or pedicure, or even get your eyebrows done. They are a clean and trendy salon dedicated to helping you feel your best. Turn a not so great situation into a better one by treating yourself and taking the time to relax.

There is a chance you have walked by this colorful store before, but it is definitely worth stopping by next time you are in the Prudential Center. Johnny Was describes themselves as “boho chic and vintage clothing.” This store has a great selection of tops and dresses perfect for the summer and handbags that are sure to make a statement. Johnny Was has a thing for scarves, and after you see their selection you will too (check out this cool tutorial on different ways to tie a scarf). Don’t miss out on visiting this great store with a boutique vibe!

It turns out that malls aren’t just for shopping and eating, they can be for working out too! Try Flywheel for a fun and intense spin class or take a FlyBarre class to strengthen all your muscles. In spin class you will ride to great music and a motivating teacher will keep you dripping sweat. Barre might seem like an easy ballet-like class, but don’t be fooled- you will be surprised by the amount of shaking a couple of two pound weights can cause. Whichever you choose to go with you will come out feeling stronger and more energized!
