And not only that, the IMB team decided to try the top two and give our own verdict on which one is the more superior taco!

The concept of the restaurant stemmed from its owners’ Texan and Southern Californian roots. Their aim is to come up with the best TexMex dishes- using only the highest quality ingredients. By doing this, you can be sure that they serve only what would look like art on a plate! Their huge selection of cocktails and wide range of food choices is a hit for Bostonians and non Bostonians alike. But of course, one of the best selling dishes are their tacos! From baja fish, chorizo and even to their fried avocado tacos, you’ll surely satisfy your taco craving here!

Tenoch Mexican: Quick service, yet high quality tacos!

Tenoch started out as a food truck back in 2012. Ever since then, they’ve managed to expand to three stationary locations. They’re known for a lot of things- but mostly for their great tacos and quick service, almost having little to no wait time. People seem to love their corn tortilla tacos the most out of all! They also have a wide range of meats and non-meats to choose form: lamb, carnitas and vegetables, etc. you name it- they have it. With fresh toppings and good service, it’s no wonder this place gets high reviews!

Though the storefront looks unassuming at first glance, look inside on a normal weekday night and you’ll find this place packed! For a good reason, too. Take note, even if the store can be in its full capacity, the quick service will surely make up for it. Taco Loco has been hailed as one of Boston’s best tacos many times in both the past and present eras. And, after tasting their dishes, trust us… you will know why!

Looking through their Yelp page alone, we’re sure you’d want to head on over there ASAP to see what the hype is all about!

You just can’t beat the classics with Anna’s Taqueria!

If you’ve been around the city long enough, you’ve either heard of this place or have tried it yourself (as we hope). Anna’s Taqueria has been around for so long, it is arguably one of Bostonians’ favorite go-to’s when they need their taco fix.

Opened in the first day of January 1995, this place is well-loved for their packed and flavorful dishes that give you the best bang for your buck. Whatever you go with – and we hope you go with tacos, you surely won’t be disappointed.

Sabroso Taqueria: Boston’s answer to tasty burritos… and tacos!

Another beloved joint by the locals, Sabroso prides itself in serving the most authentic Mexican food around. Some of its patrons  even go far as to describe Sabroso Taqueria as being “miles better than others”. Their best selling dishes center on their burritos, but it’s not like their tacos aren’t an A+ either. Choose between carnitas, chicken, steak, or shrimp and customize your taco based on your preference, and you should be good to go!

So, between Anna’s and Sabroso – what did our team pick, you may ask? Well, if you’re a curious cat, then click on the video below! The results may surprise you.
