One of the best things about spring in Boston are the flowers that are planted around the city. When you begin to see tulips, you know it’s finally spring. Besides tulips springing up around the city, cherry blossoms are blooming, among other flowers making the city beautiful and cheery after a dreary winter.
With the flowers blooming, it’s time to know where the best instagrammable spots are in Boston to get your best images.
Boston Public Garden
A spring favorite is the Boston Public Garden AKA Tulip Central (this is not a thing – yet, but it should be). If you want a great shot of the quintessential spring, stop here and enjoy all the beautiful flowers that have been planted. This is a busy spot, so you’ll most likely have to wait to get the picture you want, but once you do, it’ll be worth it.
The Esplanade is perfect if you’re looking for cherry blossoms. The trees are blooming along the river, giving you the perfect scenery to capture a great image for Instagram.
Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway
The Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway is not only great for the art installations that come in the summer, but for spring as well. As you stroll along the Greenway, you’ll find a variety of flowers to capture.
Friends of Christopher Columbus Park
As you walk to the North End, you’ll want to stop at the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park to get a few pictures of the tulips and cherry blossom trees.
PO Square may not seem as though it is an Instagrammable spot, however, there are quite a few places to capture great spring photos.
Spring is blossoming everywhere around the city – you just have to keep your eyes open.
